While therapy is not emphasized, that is not the purpose of this referenceit is designed more for infection preventionists, public health officers, epidemiologists, and those interested in developing a basic understanding of the field. As concerns in the fields of epidemiology and public health continue to evolve (new pathogens, changing public opinion, etc.), this reference provides needed updates to prior editions. |
