Assessment

| What I love about this book is that the way it presents information is akin to the best lectures from medical school and dermatology conferences. Reading it is as if the best teacher (and not necessarily the world's expert) is laying out the critical foundations for how to think about the processes of diseases in a way that allow you to logically develop an understanding of the diseases and how to plan appropriate therapies. At the risk of sounding blasphemous, this book is my favorite and has replaced the classic Fitzpatrick's Dermatology, 9th Edition, Kang et al. (McGraw-Hill, 2020) on my shelf. This continues to be the first-place winner of all definitive dermatologic encyclopedic references. The book receives a standing ovation from me. |
